Winter Soldier, Sunshine Patriot

Winter Soldier, Sunshine Patriot? With perceived defeat of MAGA in the 2022 mid-term elections (illusion), many Sunshine Patriots have been exposed. Truth might be non-negotiable, but for some, I guess it is. Winter Patriots remain, undeterred.

So, what is a “Sunshine Patriot”? Someone who is squishy about their beliefs, will swear dedication in good times, but will turn completely when things don’t come out as they expect. They want to keep their social media popularity in tact, so they back-off to the imagined security of that perceived popularity. When you become more offended by comments made against the new media-made desperation 2024 candidate than you do two stolen elections, you were never the real deal, were you?

There are many, many digital Winter Soldier soldiers, however. We quietly research and draw our own conclusions, not relying on others. It is up to us to go against the winds of misinformation and help peacefully disseminate the truth. We see the corruption and outright theft of our work benefiting the law-breaking mob. We see our youth dying from fentanyl, being trafficked; sexualized from practically infancy. We see the obvious lies we’re supposed to believe (and don’t). We see the real racism, and it’s not from us. We see the double standards; two-tiered “justice” system. We know what they don’t tell us. We’re not stupid. Finally, we don’t want to perpetuate this for our children and grandchildren. We want to save them from slavery.

Only One

There’s only one candidate I will stand behind. He has kept his word on every promise he has made. He believes in the individual, not the collective. He believes in personal and economic freedom. He believes in Free Speech and gun rights specified in the Constitution’s Second Amendment. He believes in equal justice for all. He believes in law and order and stands behind police and military. He wants our vote protected. He took no salary. He can’t be bought. He loves our country. Most important, he believes in God.

That man- still my President- Donald J. Trump.

Ending Attacks on Free Speech

After years of watching Socialists, Communists, Fascists, etc. completely stifle free speech and free thought in schools and media, we finally have a President who is ending attacks on free speech. College campuses especially are no longer places for lively debate. If you are white, conservative, Christian, over 50, you have no platform to speak. I won’t be subjected to the violence others spew on social media while people with my point of view are racist, haters, etc. Talk about bullies! This blog contains Part 2 of my ongoing narrative about free speech.

President Donald Trump at CPAC March 2, 2019 said:

“We reject oppressive speech codes, censorship, political correctness and every other attempt by the hard left to stop people from challenging ridiculous and dangerous ideas. These ideas are dangerous,” Trump said. “Instead we believe in free speech, including online and including on campus.

“Today I’m proud to announce that I will be very soon signing an executive order requiring colleges and universities to support free speech if they want federal research grants….”

“If they want our dollars, and we give it to them by the billions, they’ve got to allow people like Hayden (Hayden Williams, the young conservative assaulted recently at UC Berkley) and many other great young people and old people to speak. Free speech. If they don’t, it will be very costly.”

I will no longer be silent about my thoughts on President Trump. He will fight for my right for free speech. That’s why I love America and I will die for that right. There will no longer be a doubt who I support from now on. I support President Trump because he has clearly shown me that I as an individual, my right for free speech is as important to him as it is to me. Call us racists?-NO!-LOOK IN THE MIRROR!!! DO THE RESEARCH!!!

Just the Start

This is just the start. We are in the midst of a great awakening. People are starting to see what’s going on and they are demanding changes from the people who are data-mining them, as well as the government that they fork over ever-increasing taxes to.

I’m not the only person to leave the big search engine and social media. We won’t be back unless and until the playing field is leveled. As far as government is concerned-TERM LIMITS!

Say what you will, but so will I. I support individual freedom, not violent mobs. I stand with President Trump. That’s my choice. God Bless America!

Winter Soldier Video

I wrote a couple of earlier blogs about constructing my composition, now it’s time to produce and release my “Winter Soldier” video.

First, lets go back to where we left off. I had the lyrics and worked out the vocals. Then, I recorded them, along with some guitar- a little rhythm and some slide run through my Amplitube 4 plugin. Next, I mixed down to a 24-bit master wav file.

I took the finished file and dropped it into my Filmora Pro video editing software. I started making videos with Windows Movie Maker, but soon learned about Wondershare Filmora which I now use because of it’s great value and features.

Lastly, I get my videos from Storyblocks Video, there again, for quality and value. I string them together, add some effects, render, and upload to my Vimeo channel. Here is the final video:

From here, I will then release the 9 minute single of “Winter Soldier” on DistroKid.

Next Phase-Winter Soldier

Rolling on

Rolling on, I continue with the next phase of “Winter Soldier”, a composition started in an earlier blog- Being Social, etc..

To recap: I have around 12 saved wav files rendered from midi triggered by the Artiphon Instrument 1 (passed through different presets in the Waves Flow Motion synth). After editing the files, I added drums and rendered a stem of this submix (bypassing the master mix bus). The midi tracks made from the Finale score were tacked on to the first movement, and instruments recalled from the same Sample Tank preset used in the Finale score.

Nextly

Nextly, I rendered another stem of the Sample Tank instrumental after double-checking the panning of the stereo signal. I bypassed the mix bus for this, again.

For the last 2 verses, I used another 4 midi channels, opening up another instance of a Sample Tank rack, and loaded newly-selected instruments to play the notes required. This becomes my third section, and so, render the submix per method mentioned. These 3 stems are lined up side-by-side in Waveform (my workstation).

I added a simple brush drum part, then some guitar-both to their own separate submix stems.

Melody

Next, I need to actually come up with the melody. Up goes the mic, and I just start singing… Like I said, you never know what might happen when recording, but if you don’t do it, nothing will!
