Hug
We are living through a time when we all need a hug. Right now, quarantines are being played out due to an evil virus launched to bring us down. It was also meant to keep us divided. You’re easier to control when you can’t think for yourself. Social distancing=no hug.
Now, I’ll admit, I’m a hugger. I guess when you can’t run about willy-nilly (like some free person or something), you don’t come in contact with many family or friends outside of your immediate household to hug.
Solution
I was thinking about a solution to this hug shortage and came up with an answer. Why not hug them in your heart? It’s perfectly politically correct. No government can stop you. Perfectly safe; makes you feel good too!
Well, looks like I addressed this issue in a sprawling over nine-minute opus called (get this) Hug! I released the instrumental version today, and will include the lyric version in my next Skyypilot album (now in progress)-T.B.A.

Hug

Frequency montage with letters rearranged,
Sentimental musings of events yet unexplained.
Aimless aspirations; fearless to a fault.
Every ounce of feeling locked inside a vault.
Don’t wander though reality, tossed ’bout to and fro.
Dulling all the senses; wondering where to go.
Focus on a future that’s rooted in today,
Oh warrior of tomorrow, leader of the way!
We’re each a space in time, Maybe many miles apart,
But I can see you in my mind, I can hug you in my heart.
Emotional premonition. Distancing , misplaced.
Sheltered indecision of everything you face.
Tomorrow will be better as tears all fade away.
Far-off will be the memory of “imminent decay.”
A phase in this dimension, though primitive it seems,
Something good’s evolving in that presumed-hidden gleam.
Relationships are strengthened, lives are turned around.
Opportunities unexpected suddenly are found
Well, back to work!
