So Glad That It's Spring

Beautiful valley in bloom after winter of sleep.
Couple of weeks ago frozen, and wow, what a leap!
It's a sunny day, majestic month of May,
Old  Man Winter has lost all his sting.
Hear me sing,
"Don't you know I'm so glad that it's Spring?"

Lots of Forget-Me-Nots telling me I'm not alone.
Birches and Spruce stand as sentinals where I may roam.
Things seem back on track; life is coming back.
Sweet sweet Summer soon will start her fling.
Hear me sing,
"Don't you know I'm so glad that it's Spring?"

Snow-capped splendor seems far away
In land of the Midnight Sun.
Heaven's blessings are streaming down,
Showering every one!

Red-breasted sparrow is warbling greetings to all.
There is true meaning for all those who answer the call.
Life's carefree song.  Won't you sing along?
Load is lighter, seems I'm sproutin' wings.
Hear me sing,
"That's I'm so glad that it's Spring!"
